Theatre Rental New York
Our theatres are unlike most you will find in New York. They are in a beautiful, well-maintained art deco developing with a wealthy history. Our patio and studio theatre offer multiple spaces that are perfect for the additional wants of film/tv shoots. The seating is intimate and comfortable.
Our theatre is located in the heart of Broadway on 37th street between Seventh and Eight avenues. We are tucked away on a quiet street that is home to the film business studios, sound engineers, unique effects labs, film vaults. At night, no cost street parking is ample.
The Theatre will be rented to people, businesses and organizations based on a rate schedule approved by the Board of Directors. The rental rate structure, successful January 1, 2009, is included at the end of this section.
Deposits and Cancellations
A deposit fee of .00 will be needed to hold a date on the Theatre calendar. This fee will be refunded if cancellation occurs 120 days in advance of the scheduled date. Cancellation must be produced with written notification. The balance of the base rental fee will be needed no later than forty-five days in advance of the event date. Cancellation of the date following this point will result in forfeiture of the entire base rental deposit.
At the discretion of the Board of Directors, requests for rental of the Theatre might be denied if the proposed event presents a possible conflict to the market target of a previously scheduled event or an event that is not regarded as in the best interest of the theatre. Criteria contain market saturation of a certain event type, the long-term relationship of existing Theatre clients and the image or monetary impact on the Theatre.
Events requiring security may not be suitable for this venue and approval will be at the discretion of the theatre manager and board of directors.
To make certain the protection of all in-home equipment and the expert presentation of events, the Theatre needs that the client utilize the house maintenance and technical staff of the Theatre for their event. Any expense for labor incurred by the Theatre shall be billed to the client per the rates described at the end of this document.
